Todd on Tyson
For good reason, Tyson Bolduc is a name you know. Have you read ski mags in the past five years? Ya, you've seen him. Getting published all over the place is routine for this Salt Laker Coloradan. Tyson has also left his mark on the Big Mountain comp circuit after standing on several podiums including the top rung at Jackson Hole a couple of years ago. He has particularly earned mine and any skiers respect after competing at the world's gnarliest ski comp, the Verbier Ride. Just getting invited means your'e legit, making it down the venue in one piece means you have some serious skills, and making it into the finals means there is a reason you're a pro, Tyson did all of this. Tyson still shreds as hard as ever, but in addition to traveling the world shooting stills and filming with Two Plank productions, he is now also flying helicopters. Yep, flying helicopters!
Tyson on Todd
Todd Ligare is the guy who played his cards right. I met Todd at a few freeskiing competitions, but I never knew the extent of his talent until the following fall. After taking a few runs and putting down a few beers, we went our separate ways after the winter and Todd was only a memory until I was sitting on my couch watching the TGR movie and I shit you not, there was Todd looking all sexy. Like Zeus flying across the sky on a golden rocket, Todd can ski has ass off and hold his own while remaining humble and happy while he does it. Despite the lack of the golden rocket or the mythological god association, Todd is the guy you hope to run into in the lift line, because you will be met with a smile and a ski day that you will remember. An all around great guy and when you look into his eyes you know he is enjoying himself..
